First of all, a big big thank you to everyone who has congratulated us on our upcoming baby! We're so blessed that after over a year of trying, we have the chance to welcome another baby into our lives. We're so thrilled & excited for this adventure a second time around! Now, on to the "bumpdate" you've all been waiting for ;)
How far along? 11 weeks-ish. I'm one week further along than we thought! Our new due date is January 1, which is awesome! We'll be starting the New Year off well!
Total weight gain? 3 lbs! Slow, but steady.
Maternity clothes? Not really? I've had to do the rubber band thing to my pants, but my shirts still seem to be fitting okay! Dresses & skirts, my friends. And overalls! Which are the best maternity pants ever because everything's held up by straps & if they start to get too tight, just loosen the straps!
Sleep? Besides getting up every hour to go to the bathroom, I'm doing pretty well!
Best moment this week? Getting to see our little baby in the ultrasound. That thing was bouncing up & down like it was its job! I kept laughing so hard that the doctor had a hard time getting a clear picture haha. Whoops!
Worst moment this week? Having to deal with allergies. All I want to do is go outside & enjoy summer but dang it, I'm sneezing like crazy & my eyes are watering constantly-- well, only when they're not swollen shut.
Have you told family and friends? Yes! We've made our phone calls & have officially social media'd it, so we're set ;)
Miss anything? SOFT CHEESE. Weird thing to miss, right? But my apple pecan salad just isn't the same without feta.
Movement: Nothing I can feel, but we know from the ultrasound that we have a jumping bean in there.
Food craving/aversions? Craving banana salt water taffy? Weirdest craving, but I can down an entire 2 lbs bag of those things in 30 minutes. Also, fruit & cheese like crazy.
Have you started to show yet? Oh yes. Ohhhh yes. I'm as big as my 7 month pregnant sister, which is pretty hilarious to the both of us.
Gender? Not a solid idea, but a lot of people are predicting boy. I don't really like to guess, because I don't like being wrong!
