Mother's Day this year was such a blast! I never have more fun than I do with Jeff & Paige and today was certainly no exception. Jeff let me go to bed early and sleep in, so I was extra happy, with being well-rested and all ;) Strawberry- banana smoothies for breakfast, babies who sleep in, new clothing and camera lenses? Oh boy! We went to church and were able to listen to the sweetest talks on mothers given by some of the young women in our ward. Of course, they made me cry, thinking of my own mom and of Paige. If I can be half as good of a mother to Paige as my mom was to me, I'll be one happy mama.

We spent the rest of our day relaxing and playing in Blacksmith Fork Canyon. Mother Nature was kind enough to let up the rain for one day and let some sunshine in. Heaven knows we needed it! We were able to talk to both of our moms on FaceTime and wish them a happy mother's day from 2,500 miles away! Technology is such a blessing! Paige was such a doll the whole day, even the part where she projectile vomited (twice) all over everything and we had to run 3 extra loads of laundry. I love my sweet little family so much, and I'm so grateful to be Paige's mom. Even on the days when she makes me want to pull my hair out and eat ice cream for every single meal ;)
