Hooray, hooray he's done! It's been 7 years, one 2 year mission, and 2 majors in the making. We've spent 99% of our marriage with one or both of us in school, and it is such a relief to finally be done! This past year and a half has been particularly stressful with picking a graduate school, having a baby, suffering through our first tax season, and extra suffering through a Master's Program.
It was a lot of sacrificing, a lot of stress, and a lot of counting down the days until he was done. But officially, in December 2014, he finished. Of course, graduates only walk in the Spring, so he had to wait 5 months to walk and be an official graduate ;) It was so great, because his parents were able to fly out from West Virginia and attend the ceremony and his sister was able to come too! Also, shout out to my father in law who walked around with Paige (the non-stop screamer) so I was able to get pictures of the ceremony!
It was the best ever, watching him walk across the stage and getting his diploma (holder). I cried, of course, because I was so incredibly proud. Jeff's worked ridiculously hard for his two degrees, and seeing all that hard work pay off was too much for me, I guess! So proud of my accountant! Now off to study for and pass the CPA exams. Yeeesh.
