HIGHLIGHTS
- We made it through our first year as parents (without reading a single baby book- hurrah!) which probably means we did it wrong.
- Paige turned one! And you can read more about it & see a bunch of pictures here.
- We were called to be Webelos leaders & loved it. 10 year old boys are fun-- until you have 10 of them at the same time.
- Jeff officially graduated college with his Masters of Accounting and started working 100% full time at an accounting firm in Logan. Read more about that & see pictures here.
- We celebrated life by spending most of our summer outdoors- going to the pool, taking hikes, and exploring cache valley & bear lake.
- Laura turned 23 & has discovered that what they say is true-- no one likes you when you're 23
- We spent the summer with both of our families & got to show off our (sort of furnished) home!
- We got new family pictures taken & love them & stare at them every single day. Again, see those pictures here.
- Jeff turned 26 & is feeling old. Because he is.
- Celebrated our 4 year anniversary (what!?)
- Celebrated our first Christmas in our new home & Laura LOVED IT because it meant she got to decorate!
- Got released from Webelos and have been called to serve as Sunbeams teachers which will definitely be a new experience! But from what we hear, we get to have snacks, so we're not too worried ;)
- Jeff got a brand new job! He'll be working for KPMG, traveling across the country doing something related to accounting. He'll be gone a bit, but it's worth it for his dream job (& the sky miles & hotel points we get out of it, ha!) Also, this means that we might be able to move back out to Virginia eventually which is super exciting too!
But truly, this has been such a great year! We're so happy to live where we live & have the friends that we do! We're looking forward to this year-- even though we already broke like, all of our resolutions, whoops-- and hope you have a great 2016! Oh, and here's a Christmas card for those of you who didn't get one! Add your address to our address book here and then we can all be best friends :)
